Cut 8 Tbsp. of butter or butter flavored Crisco into the dry mix until the size of peas.
Then measure 1/3 cup of milk. Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the milk. Stir just until moistened (if dough remains fairly dry add small amounts of milk just until moistened).
Drop by large spoonful's (1/3 cup by volume) onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400F for 14-16 minutes or until golden brown.

Gourmet Cookie Mix – Make Up Instructions:
Mix entire pouch of Cookie Mix (10.86 oz)
Butter (unsalted): 1 stick (melted and slightly cooled)
Eggs 1 large (beaten)
Preheat oven to 375F
In large bowl stir cookie mix, butter and egg together just until combined.
Measure 1/4 cup of cookie mix and place on baking sheet.
Bake for approximately 12-14 minutes, rotating baking sheet front to back at the half-way mark.
Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes, then remove to a rack to cool completely.

Gourmet Muffin Mix - Make Up Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F
Mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup (4 Tbsp.) melted butter, and 3/4 cup milk in a medium mixing bowl.
Add 13.5oz of muffin mix. Stir just until moistened. Fill lightly greased muffin cups (or use paper liners) about 2/3 full with batter.
